My Purpose: "Kali-Ma, the Dark Mother, holds the two edged sword, she has the power to slay demons as well as the ability to be compassionate. Sometimes the "Demons" are our own illusions and fantasies about life. For many people, myself included, being the victim had become a career. I found it easier to blame my past, rather than taking up MY Own sword and facing the present. It seemed too difficult to acknowledge my own anger and fight for what I knew in my heart to be right. With Kali I am empowered, I now know it is necessary for me to take up my sword and cut through the blindfolds and illusions that once held me back. I no longer allow anything to prevent me from acting on what I know to be the truth, For these Blessings, I give her many thanks."

Meditation~ Breathes, etc., travel through time and space, cross through a dark veil, feet on ground, it is night, eyes adjust, it is a Cemetery, Cold, Dark………….yet alive w/Spirit, walk to the cremation grounds, …………where we will meet the Dark Mother and listen to her words…………………..

"Listen now to the Words of the Dark Mother"~ my modified version (I did this as part of the Meditation, bringing everyone to a cemetery, where they hear and eventually are met by Kali in all her splendor, she questions their purpose, and bids them to "listen to the words of the Goddess")

"Hear me child, and know Me for who I am.

I have been with you since before you were born, and I stay with you until you return to Me at the final dusk.
I am passionate and seductive, inspiring the poet to dream.
I am the One who calls to you.

I am the womb from which all are born.
I am the Sorceress who is not ruled, the Weaver of Time, the Teacher of Mysteries.

You overcame your fear and came to me.
I am the fury, who rips the flesh from injustice.
I am the glowing forge, where your inner demons are transformed into tools of power.

You have opened yourself to my embrace.
I am the sword protecting you from harm.
I am as deep as the night sky, shrouded in mystery.
I am the cauldron.

I am the Fire.

I am the Healer.

~ I then told them to "Remember these words. Now listen to the special message she has for you. Accept her Blessings."

Then out of the Meditation~ travelling back, breathing, opening eyes.

5-Fold Blessing: (Thea, as a Priestess of Kali herself, did the Blessing to me, honoring my feet, gentials, womb, heart, & third eye on my path, then I stated, "My xyz is Blessed.")

My Prayer: "Om Kali Mother, Mother Shakti, Creator and Destroyer.

To Thee oh Mother I pay Ye homage.

When I call to You, You are Always there
You have been with me from the beginning

You will be with me in the end.

I speak your name and it is also mine
With Your name comes reason
In Your voice comes wisdom
Your sight is all seeing and all knowing

Kali, You are She who has created all

Kali Ma, You are every ending which is also a beginning, and every beginning which is also an ending
Kali Ma, You are She who's word is final

Mother, sweet Goddess, whenever I have need of thee, I don’t look outward, I look inward.

Offering to Kali (Blood, Rose)

"The Rose, a beautiful symbol of Life and all it’s wonders. A rose is often used at funerals and weddings, to mark and celebrate the completion of an event in the cycle of our lives. Kali, this rose is a gift from you. I present this as a symbol of passing and celebration, the passing of Fear, and the celebration of my life.

I wish to mark this passing by celebrating with proper Respect to Kali Ma and her role in my existence and my survival.

Blood is present in our Death and our Birth, it is fitting that it be included in this rite. The Combination of the rose and blood are my symbol of the oath I have made, respect and homage to Kali Ma and myself as her Priestess." (pricked finger with rose thorn, put on rose blossom)

"Kali, I give to you this symbol of my dedication, homage and respect.

This is also a symbol of my fear being destroyed and the beauty of the rose remaining. I give you my life’s blood and this rose as a symbol of my continued dedication to growth and truth."

"Hear my Proclamation": "I am Kali, Wild Woman, Fierce and Free,

Mother, Lover, Defender of Truth, Shakti, Primordial Feminine Force,

Free of Fear induced limitations,

"This cup represents Mortality, Birth, Death and Rebirth. As I take this juice into my body, I take in the essence of You, Kali, honoring you as well as sealing my personal oath to you and myself."

"I also offer this to you, My Covenmates, my chosen family, drink from this cup. As you savor this bittersweet juice, know that it represents life and death with it’s bitter & sweetmoments. May it bring you clarity and peace as it has me. May Kali bless you."
