Greetings!  I'm Sue, Owner and Webmistress of Gypsy Muse.   This site has been a dream of mine for many years.  I am so excited that it is finally becoming a reality.

I live in Standish, Maine with my husband Dan, and our furry and feathered children.  I am quite active in the Pagan Community here in Maine. I am Treasurer and Acting-Secretary of the Maine Pagan Clergy Association and an Elder of Silver Cauldron Coven.  As a member of Silver Cauldron Coven, I participate in the creating and producing of our Open-to-the-Public Rituals for all the Wiccan Holidays. (Refer to the Community Page for our Dates  & Times)  I also co-teach a 13 session-1x per month class entitled VPS (Vacation Pagan School) with Cynthia Jane Collins and Steve A.

As a member of the Pagan Community in Maine, I feel it is very important to support my community during the many transitions of our lives, be it a Paganing (a welcoming back to the Community) of a young child, a Handfasting, a Marriage or a Service to help a Passing and Acknowledge the Blessings of the life that was.  I take great pride in performing services for our community, Handfastings & Paganings are two of my favorite services to perform, both events are filled with such happiness. As a Notary for the State of Maine I am able to make Handfastings legally binding, which works out very well.

In my "spare" time I enjoy cooking, bellydancing, making homemade soaps & lotions, painting, doing Psychic & Tarot Card Readings, sewing (I made the Renn outfits in the pic of Dan & I above), and probably most of all, anything outdoors - including playing in the dirt in my gardens. 

My ancestory is filled with Romani Gypsy Witches.  I am part of the first generation born here in the USA from my Mom's side of the family.  Her family all come from Germany and Poland.  Circumstances have not allowed me to meet anyone further back than my mom in the corporeal form. Spiritually speaking, I have very strong ties with my family, past and present.  Details of my Genealogy can be found on my Genealogy Page. 

My fascination with Gypsy Vardos (also known as  Wagons) dates back long before I knew the term "Vardo".   As a small child I would dream of being a Gypsy and living in an ornately decorated Gypsy Wagon.  I was often a Fortune teller or dancer in these dreams.  As I grew up, I found that much of what I dreamed was real, and that my attraction to these images was directly linked to my heritage. 

This site is another of my dreams, a dream that I hope will serve my community by providing an informative and fun resource for the online community while also supplying fine quality inspirational and spiritual items at a very fair price.
